What data we collect

Through the initial assessment form we may collect your full name, email address, telephone number, type of matter, language and the information you choose to include in the brief summary of your situation.

The form is intended only for an initial contact. Please do not send documents or particularly sensitive information at this first stage.

03

Why we use your data

We use the data you provide to:

  • Receive and review your request.
  • Carry out an initial assessment to determine whether we can assist with the matter.
  • Contact you to respond to your enquiry and, where appropriate, explain the next steps.
  • Manage communications prior to any potential professional relationship.

Submitting the form does not imply acceptance of the matter or automatically create a lawyer-client relationship.

The data submitted through this form will not be used for marketing communications unless specific consent is requested in the future for that purpose.

04

Legal basis

The processing of data submitted through the form is based on the request made by the data subject so that SP Abogada can review and respond to the enquiry.

Where applicable, processing may be necessary in order to take pre-contractual steps at the request of the data subject. Where consent is required for a specific processing activity, it will be requested separately.

05

How long we keep your data

Data will be kept for as long as necessary to deal with the request and manage the communications arising from it. Afterwards, where appropriate, it may be kept blocked for the periods required to address possible legal liabilities.

If a professional relationship is ultimately established, the data necessary to provide the service will be processed and retained in accordance with the legal and professional obligations applicable to that relationship.

06

Recipients and service providers

SP Abogada does not sell your personal data or use it for advertising purposes unrelated to the purposes described above.

Technology providers may be involved in the operation of the website and email services. Where they access personal data on behalf of SP Abogada, they must do so in accordance with the applicable data protection obligations.

Data may also be disclosed where there is a legal obligation or where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

07

International transfers

If any technology provider used to deliver the service involves an international transfer of data, that transfer must be carried out on a valid legal basis and with the safeguards required by the applicable data protection rules.

08

Your rights

Where applicable, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability.

To exercise these rights, you may write to info@spabogada.com, indicating which right you wish to exercise and providing the information necessary to identify and process your request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency if you consider that the processing of your personal data does not comply with the applicable rules.

Security and confidentiality

SP Abogada will adopt appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, taking into account the nature of the data and the risks involved in the processing.

Information received in connection with a legal enquiry will be handled with the confidentiality that applies, without prejudice to the fact that simply submitting the form does not by itself establish a professional relationship.

10

Minors

The contact form is not specifically intended for minors. If a minor requires legal assistance, the processing of their data must be managed in accordance with the applicable rules and the specific circumstances of the matter.
